Ecology made workable
Making ecology work with your project, not against it
As a small independent ecologist working alongside architects, developers and private clients. I am focused on delivering workable solutions to meet planning requirements and facilitate deliverable projects.
I have worked as a consultant in the south west for six years, following three years working in arboriculture. During this time I have supported a wide range of projects from small household extensions to major development schemes and have designed some of the largest habitat banks within the region.
I bring extensive experience in botanical surveying, protected species mitigation and mediating wildlife-development conflicts. Over the past few years ecology within the planning system has become increasingly complex, but I know how it can be made workable. By liaising closely with my clients, I am able to provide clear advice, reduce uncertainty, and support planning applications that work both on paper and in practice.
